At St Matthew’s CofE Primary School, we value a structured, happy day that supports learning, play, and personal growth. Here’s what a typical school day looks like for our pupils:

8:30 am – Morning Nursery starts
11:30 am – Morning Nursery children go home
12:15 pm – Afternoon Nursery starts
3:15 pm – Afternoon Nursery children go home
Reception - Year 6

8:35 am - School gates open
8:45 am - School gates close
8:45 am - Morning lessons begins
All children have a 15‑minute morning break and 45 minutes break (check with your class teacher for exact times)
3:00 pm – Home time
