At our school, we work with the Shades Team and the Diocese of Manchester to help us learn about fairness, diversity and belonging. Through different activities and discussions, we are encouraged to celebrate each other’s differences and understand how everyone should be treated with kindness and respect.

Shades also helps us grow in our Christian faith by teaching us how to put love into action, just like Jesus did. It gives us a safe space to share our thoughts, listen to others and learn together. We enjoy taking part in activities that help us understand different cultures, challenge racism and make our school a welcoming place for everyone.
