Our approach to RSE reflects our commitment to developing the whole child. Through a carefully planned and age-appropriate curriculum, we aim to equip pupils with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to build positive relationships, stay safe and make informed choices as they grow. We recognise that high-quality RSE plays a vital role in safeguarding, helping children to understand boundaries, consent and how to seek support when needed.

As a Church of England school, our teaching is underpinned by Christian values such as love, respect, compassion and forgiveness. We believe that every child is unique and made in the image of God, and therefore deserves to be treated with dignity and care. Our RSE curriculum is inclusive and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our school community, encouraging children to respect others and celebrate difference.

Through RSE, we support children to develop a strong sense of self, an understanding of healthy relationships, and the confidence to express their thoughts and feelings. Working in partnership with parents and carers, we strive to prepare our pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and challenges of life in modern Britain, within a framework of shared values and mutual respect.
