Welcome to Year 2
We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Year 2! As your child moves on from Year 1, we are excited to build on the strong foundations they have already developed in reading, writing, mathematics, and social skills.
Our PE days are [insert days]. Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit on these days. Try to read with your child every day to help develop their confidence and enjoyment of reading. Homework will be given out on Wednesday and should be returned on Monday. There will be 1 English and 1 Maths per week, as well as weekly spellings and daily reading.
