At St Matthew’s C of E Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child is valued, supported and given the opportunity to flourish. We use our Pupil Premium funding to provide additional support for eligible pupils, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensure that all children can achieve their very best.
Pupil Premium funding is allocated by the government to schools to support pupils who may face challenges to their learning, including those who are eligible for free school meals, have been eligible in the past, or are looked after or previously looked after children.
We use this funding to:
Provide targeted academic support and interventions
Support children’s social and emotional well-being
Enrich the curriculum through trips, clubs and wider opportunities
Ensure all pupils can fully participate in school life
Our approach is carefully planned and regularly reviewed to ensure the funding has a positive impact on pupils’ progress, confidence and well-being.
Full details of our Pupil Premium strategy, spending and impact can be found in the documents above.
